The Cell Structure Laboratory investigates the assembly and architecture of virus factories, replication complexes and morphogenetic pathways of several RNA viruses that are important human pathogens. The group is also working in new antivirals and drugs’ repurposing. With experience in virology, cell biology and biochemistry and a strong background in microscopy, the team has recently developed new probes for correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM).
